Pennsylvania State Parks at Risk

The state is currently heavily into budget negotiations to meet the July 1 budget deadline. Because of the bad economy and major budget shortfall for this upcoming June 30 fiscal year-end, the Senate Republicans passed their version of a state budget which proposes to ELIMINATE 35 STATES PARKS (for comparison, the governor's budget did NOT propose to close any parks). Please take a moment to contact your state senator and representative and ask them to please not allow ANY state parks to close. Their e-mail addresses are listed on this link.
