While building this site we've gotten lots of requests for detailed trail maps and information regarding our local trail systems. While we encourage you to connect with one of our local group rides for a guided tour of our trails, we wanted to provide our readers with valuable trail information as well. So we did...

Middle Run / White Clay - Newark, DE

Riding Middle Run & White Clay will make you happy you never sold your hardtail-or pissed that you did. The hardpack singletrack flows in neat ribbons, criss-crossing the kind of low, bubbly hills you can hammer up in the big ring. The trails are as fast as you are reckless, and are home to lots of single speed 29er riders, many with rigid forks. There are tons of trail features to keep you entertained, as well as a fully-developed skills park. And with the recent addition of more miles of trail throughout adjacent Redd Park, you can ride all day without hitting the same trail twice.

Trail maintenance at Middle Run / White Clay is performed by volunteers who meet on the third Saturday of each month at McGlynn's Pub (8 Polly Drummond Shopping Center
Newark, DE 19711) at 9am, then head out to work on various projects throughout the parks. Click here for details on how to get involved.
